Manufacturing is Moore County’s sixth largest industry sector, with over 80 manufacturers employing over 1,700 workers. In 2024, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for this sector was over $253.9 million, or 4.4% of Moore County’s total GDP of $5.7 billion (Bureau of Economic Analysis). You’ll find a wide variety of manufacturers producing familiar and unique products in Moore County.
Moore County is also a part of Foreign Trade Zone #93 which offers several economic advantages, including savings on taxes, labor & shipping costs, for companies involved in international trade.

Other products made by local manufacturers include plastic wrapping, whole aircraft parachute systems, furniture, apparel, pallets, equipment, tactical gear and custom kiosks, to name a few.

Workforce & Transportation
Moore County has an adaptable labor force of over 40,000 strong that is boosted by drawing workers from surrounding counties.
