Manufacturing is Moore County’s sixth largest industry sector, with over 80 manufacturers employing over 1,700 workers. In 2024, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for this sector was over $253.9 million, or 4.4% of Moore County’s total GDP of $5.7 billion (Bureau of Economic Analysis). You’ll find a wide variety of manufacturers producing familiar and unique products in Moore County.

Moore County is also a part of Foreign Trade Zone #93 which offers several economic advantages, including savings on taxes, labor & shipping costs, for companies involved in international trade.
